Economic conditions in New Europe are improving faster than previously expected. The recent sovereign debt crisis in the Euro area has raised certain worries over the potential of spillover effects to the economies in the region, particularly from Greece to Bulgaria. Yet, the gravity of the threat is likely to prove exaggerated.
