Eurobank Asset Management MFMC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Eurobank SA. The company is the investment arm of the Eurobank Group, providing the mutual funds offered by the wealth management services of Eurobank and institutional asset management services. Eurobank Asset Management MFMC also offers investment advice to institutional and private clients.

Mutual fund and property management

With a 25.71% share in the mutual fund market, Eurobank Asset Management MFMC ranks #1 in mutual fund in Greece, according to data by the Hellenic Fund and Asset Management Association, 30.09.2024. It manages and supervises €6.72 billion in assets (data on 30.09.2024):

  • 64 mutual funds totalling €5.42 billion: 24 mutual funds domiciled in Greece, 37 domiciled in Luxembourg and 3 domiciled in Cyprus.
  • €1.29 billion in institutional and private portfolios.

Eurobank Asset Management MFMC is the first asset management company in Greece committing to the global initiative of the PRI (Principles for Responsible Investment). The company’s investment philosophy adopts the ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) criteria. It actively supports sustainable development, treating environmental, social and governance issues responsibly.

Background

Eurobank Asset Management MFMC was incorporated in 2011 after a merger between Eurobank EFG Asset Management SA and Eurobank EFG Mutual Fund Management Company SA:

  • Eurobank EFG Asset Management SA started its operations in institutional asset management in 2000.
  • Eurobank EFG Mutual Fund Management Company SA was incorporated in 1999, focusing on mutual fund management.
