Eurobank EFG enriches Private Wealth Management team

In the context of the continuous improvement and upgrading of its private wealth management products and services to successfully meet the ever increasing needs of customers internationally, Eurobank EFG Group further strengthened its subsidiary Eurobank EFG Private Bank Luxembourg by including new, recognised executives, with a long international experience, in its staff.
Mr. Robert Berbee took over as Head of International Wealth Management in Eurobank EFG Private Banking Luxembourg. Mr. Berbee is a graduate of the University of The Hague, specializing in Business Economics. In the last ten years, he has worked at ABN AMRO, initially in Asset Management and then as Head of its Private Banking Unit in Luxembourg.
Mr. Michel Oosterhaven, another executive with long experience in Private Banking and Advisory Services at ABN AMRO, recently took over as Head of Advisory & Dealing. Mr. Oosterhaven holds a degree from the Amsterdam Academy of Banking and Finance and has completed postgraduate studies in Investment Analysis, achieving a European level certification.
Mr. George Korliras has 8 years of experience in Private Banking at Citibank and, prior to that, at National Bank of Greece. Mr. Korliras graduated from the University of Kent with an MSc in Business Administration, while he also holds a BA in Political Science from Boston University.
Mr. Manos Karathanassis boasts 11 years of experience in Private Banking at Citibank and prior to that in Alpha Bank. Mr. Karathanassis holds an MBA from ALBA, as well as an MSc and a Bachelor in Engineering from the University of London.
Mr. Costas Babalis, who has worked for 3 years at Citigroup Private Banking and previously with Alpha Bank, holds an MSc in Banking and Money Management from Adelphi University and a Bachelor of Science from City University in New York.
Mr. Kostas Metaxas, will be joining Eurobank EFG Private Bank Luxembourg SA as Senior Investment Counsellor. In the past, he has worked in Trading research and strategy in London for Citi, Deutsche Bank and Bank of America. He holds a business Administration Degree from University of Piraeus and MSc in Finance from Brunel University.
 
The new partners are to strengthen the existing robust management team, which has successfully managed the Bank’s Private Banking activities in recent years. Eurobank EFG Private Bank Luxembourg now boasts a powerful and dynamic staff that can meet all the needs of the Bank’s international and domestic clients, providing services that stand shoulder to shoulder with those of major international investment houses.
