Eurobank EFG was ranked for the second consecutive year as Best Bank (2006) in Greece in the sector of Private Banking by the internationally acclaimed magazine, Euromoney. Eurobank EFG received this distinction following the magazine’s international survey. The award ceremony was held in London, in the presence of top executives from all over the world; Eurobank EFG was represented by its General Manager and Managing Director of Eurobank Asset Management, Mr. Efthymios Bouloutas.
Eurobank’s Private Banking Division was placed first not only among Greek but also foreign banks that are directly or indirectly involved in asset management in Greece. This distinction concerns the quality of services provided to thousands of clients who have entrusted their assets to Eurobank EFG Private Banking.
Euromoney’s survey takes into account strict criteria using the Peer’s Group Poll method for selecting the best Private Banking service providers in different categories.
This distinction reflects the successful strategy by Eurobank EFG Private Banking, aimed at ensuring high level of service and products. The Bank’s top rating for the second time confirms high net worth individual clients’ trust in Eurobank EFG, while highlighting its effective and integrated service provided to investors.
Eurobank EFG was also rated by the leading international magazine Global Finance as Best Trade Finance Bank 2006 (Best Trade Finance Banks and Providers 2006).
It should be recalled that Eurobank EFG has launched MELLONLINE, a complete range of innovative services and products for its corporate clients. This range provides customized and flexible solutions to companies in the field of imports – exports and payment – collection operations. These products allow companies to perform, from their offices, complex transactions, eliminating time-consuming procedures, which until now resulted in higher operating costs. These services are fully in line with the Bank’s philosophy to support entrepreneurship and initiative and satisfy every business need in today’s competitive environment.
Eurobank EFG was also rated as Top Performer in 2005 for its e-banking services by the specialized technology magazine RAM, in its annual review.
Rating criteria included the comprehensiveness of on-line operations (“undoubtedly this is the most complete e-banking application”), the complete credit card support, the management of domestic and foreign transfers, the possibility of on-line payment of credit cards issued by other banks, as well as client’s “Total Image”. The Bank’s low charge policy for e-banking transactions was also an important factor.
