Opening an account online through the Eurobank Mobile App 

Scan the QR code or tap on the button to download the Eurobank Mobile App to your mobile. Open a new account in just 4 simple steps:

  1. Choose: Open an account
  2. Log into eGov KYC with your TAXISnet credentials all upload files/photos of your supporting documents.
  3. Verify your details over a video call. Your credentials are issued immediately after that.
  4. Accept the terms and complete your application. 

Opening an account at a branch 

To make an appointment at the branch of your choice choose:

  1. Basic package 
  2. Whether you bank with us or not
  3. The branch of your choice

You can get a new debit card issued that is linked to your account at the same time.

Have a look at the supporting documents you need to bring with you when you open an account at one of our branches.

You can also open a new Eurobank account at a Hellenic Post branch in the same way. You will need to make an appointment at the Hellenic Bank branch of your choice and bring with you all the supporting documents for opening an account. 

Step 1: Choose Open an account to proceed

Once you have chosen Open an account, you need to allow the app to send you notifications, so you may track the progress of your application.

Then fill in your mobile number. To verify it, you enter the One-Time Passcode (OTP) you receive via SMS.

Step 2: Submit your supporting documents

Follow the steps:

  1. Log into eGov KYC with your TAXISnet credentials.
  2. Take a selfie of your face.
  3. Make sure you have a recent utility bill handy, as we may request it during the video call. It does not necessarily have to be in your name.

If any of your supporting documents are not available through eGov KYC, we inform you, so you can upload a file or photo of them.

Alternatively, you can upload files or photos of all your supporting documents verifying your personal details, income, profession and home address.

Step 3: Verify your details over a video call

Once we check your supporting documents, we contact you by video call to verify your personal details. The video call takes about 3 minutes.

You will need to keep the Eurobank Mobile App open until you receive a notification informing you that the video call is starting. The camera turns on automatically to talk to our representative.

Once the video call is concluded, you get issued with login credentials for e-Banking and the Eurobank Mobile App. Choose the Username and the Password you want.

Step 4: Conclude your application

To conclude your application:

  • Read and accept the terms and the pre-contractual information document for your account.
  • Fill in the questionnaire for your financial profile and needs.

You application is all set and you receive an SMS on your mobile in 5 minutes to up to 2 days. Provided it is accepted, within 15 days we send you by post the debit that is linked to your new account.
