Before your transaction
Choose an ATM located at a visible, well-lighted spot. Check:
- The ATM for anything that might seem suspicious. For example, the card slot or the keypad look different, there are glue traces on them or it seems like something has been attached on them.
- The area around the ATM for suspicious-looking individuals or conditions.
In case you notice anything suspicious
Cancel your transaction, take your card and walk away.
Inform Eurobank or the police immediately, and do not try to remove any suspicious mechanisms yourself.
At Eurobank we ensure that our ATMs are at visible and well-lighted spots. In addition, we safeguard your transactions with our advanced security systems that prevent and stop fraud incidents.
Enter your card PIN in a secure way
When entering your card PIN, stand directly in front of the ATM and block the view of others.
In addition, make sure that people waiting in line are not too close to you.
Enter your card PIN with caution. You should memorise your PIN. Do not read it on the spot on papers or your mobile.
Change PIN every 6 months
For your own security we suggest that you change your card PIN every 6 months at our ATMs.

Before the transaction
Avoid opening your bag or your wallet while waiting in line. Have your card or the amount you want to deposit ready before you reach the ATM. Do not count your money on the spot.
After the transaction
Once you complete your transactions at the ATM, take your card and money, and leave. Never stand there to count your money.
Protect your data
The receipt from the ATM contains personal data about your account and your card balance. You must not share these data with others.
If you have chosen a transaction with a receipt, make sure that take it with you before you walk away.
Check your account or your card activity
Use the receipt to compare it with your statements and inform us immediately about any discrepancies.
To better monitor your banking products, you can activate your e-Banking alerts or the e-Statements.
Even if your card is stuck or you face other difficulties with your transactions, do not trust strangers to help you out.
In addition, never share your card PIN under any circumstances. Your card PIN is strictly personal and you should never share it with anyone.
If the ATM is located at one of our branches and the incident happened during business hours, inform the branch immediately.
